How to Press Your DTF Transfers
Achieving a professional-grade finish depends on consistent heat and pressure. Our transfers are designed for ease of use, ensuring a durable and vibrant bond with your fabric when the correct settings are applied. Follow the steps below for the best results:
- Temperature: Set your heat press to 150°C.
- Time: Press the design for 15 seconds.
- Pressure: Use medium pressure to ensure even adhesion across the entire design.
- Peel: This is a warm peel product; allow the film to lose its initial high heat for a few moments before removing the carrier sheet.
- Pro-Tip: After the peel, repress with parchment paper for a few seconds.
Important Note on Pressing Variables
Please be aware that external factors such as room temperature, humidity, the size of your design, the specific garment type, and the ink load can all affect your final print results. Because of these variables, slight adjustments to your curing times, pressing times, and temperatures may be necessary to achieve the perfect result for your specific setup.
Now that your garment is pressed, make sure it stays looking its best. To learn how to care for your new prints, please see here for our full washing and aftercare instructions.
